I started Affordable Caskets and Urns with the goal of helping people at one of the most difficult times of their lives by educating them on the choices available to them. The process of planning a funeral is very quick and people are unsure of their options and are often hit with sticker shock when they learn that the average price of a funeral is $8,000.
Affordable Caskets and Urns is a family business where everyone helps out. Instead of a somber funeral home atmosphere, I offer a relaxed environment where you can remember your loved one with smiles and laughter while selecting the perfect casket or urn. I have helped some amazing families and amazing people and look forward to helping you.
A lifelong resident of Springfield, Mass., I graduated from Cathedral High School in 1987. It was a sad day when the building was declared a total loss after being severely damaged by the tornado that struck Springfield June 1, 2011. I continued my education at American International College where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Master’s degree in Public Administration. I have been President of the Quaboag Hills Chamber of Commerce since 2001, and network and advocate on behalf of the local business community in the Quaboag Hills Region.
On a more personal note, I am especially proud of my three daughters—Michele, Danielle and Kendall, my two grandsons, Jonathan and Ashley and my granddaughter Claire, who are all growing to be amazing people. Some of my roots come from a line of honorable people who have fought for this country including both grandfathers and an uncle who served in World War II and my father-in-law who served in Korea. All of them are heroes in my eyes.
I’m here daily to help you with your funeral needs. Please feel free to call me with any questions or concerns at 413-386-4946. I will take as much time as you need to help you and your family make the best decisions for your situation.
